To Sean,
Unfortunately this great city is lacking in this area, but the Alphabet Lounge on Avenue C and 7th Street just started a gothic night on Friday, it's pretty decent and it is also free, my best friend DJ'd a one-hour set last friday. My friends were hosting a Goth Party at the old Limelight, but it quickly got nixed, due to some continuing construction when a building permit came through. The XXX Rated Panty Party has a new location, (I haven't made it to the new space yet), whose address I will pass on to you once I locate it myself. This party is a mix of rock, alternative and some industrial. And then of course the old standby, Downtime, or as it is better known as Albion or the Bat Cave at West 30th between 7th-8th Aves on Saturday. But this last one is only something to see if you haven't already been, it's past it's prime. And let's not forget the more hardcore monthly Byte Party on Sunday, or the once in a blue moon, Smack Party. I hope this helps you in finding a temporary cure to your boredom. Good Luck!
