] Date Posted: 20:01:50 01/22/07 Mon I am selling a 429CJ. Here are the specs: Block date code = 9F24 (June 24, 1969) Head date code = 9G31 (July 31, 1969) Head date code = 9H4 (Aug 4, 1969) Block casting DOVE-A Head casting DOOE-R This is a real Cobra Jet and one of the early production dates. This engine has been taken apart for inspection only. The block and heads have been cleaned, visually checked, magnafluxed, checked for line bore trueness. This engine has very low miles and show's very little wear. It's never been taken apart before now. It's standard bore, standard crank, factory valve job. I have block, heads, valves, springs, guide plates, studs, rockers, rods, pistons, timing cover, crankshaft, and intake manifold. This is a very rare find, especially in this condition. If you are restoring a vintage Cobra Torino or other true CJ car, this is what will make it valuable. These are not parts from several different engines, this is an original engine and it excellent condition. I will not seperate this engine, buy it all or it doesn't sell. If I get the 70 Cobra Torino body I'm looking at, I won't be selling it anyway. I will sell this engine for $3500. I'm located in Murfreesboro TN [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
