You need to really fight to get the money back from them. They will not come back asking you to collect your money. If you are not able to get hold of the people on their normal line(usually this will be the case), try to call 67324066 and talk to any of the accountants there.

We were one of the unfortunate couples who signed up for the membership and paid $5000 as a deposit. After cancelling the membership with-in 5days cooling period, I have to wait for almost 8 weeks to get my money back and not before making numerous calls & couple of emails(which were never answered). I even spoke to CASE to get my refund, but before I proceed with them I got my money back. But, I have to pay late fee/interest on my credit card bills. They first promised me they will pay back to my credit card and nothing will be given to my hand. But later they asked me to collect the cheque from their office. Its really a frustrating experience.

I have paid up the membership fee of almost $20,000.

Then came the surprise. We ask them to quote for a 10 days Turkey Trip. It was infact the same price as advertised by Dynasty Travel. The even got their itinary from Dynasty Travels.

We protested and came the another quote. This time it was exactly same as that offered by SA Tours. Of course, the itinary also comes from SA Tours.

The sales consultant said that "there is nothing he can do!".

Surely, I can do something. I have seeked CASE help to obtain a refund. It may take months.

Whoever that happens to find this forum. just remember this.

Keep your money in the pocket and book your tour with the local tour companies. Leave Oriental Travels alone FOREVER.
