After reading this forum, can't believe that this fishy business by Oriental Travel is still flourishing since 2004? I just attended a 4 hour talk on Sat 11 feb 2006 but thank God, I almost but luckily did not sign on the dotted line!!

At the back of my mind, I somehow knew that it is a timeshare kind of thing and told my husband not to fall into the trap but he did not believe me so to prove him wrong, I agreed to go with him. Before we went in, We had resolved not to sign anything no matter what they said.

Perhaps, it is the drink they offer us, or maybe the loud music and the sales people, they show us photographs of their memorable trips to holiday destinations, and the sales consultant assigned to us, a 55 year old lady dressed like a gipsy very friendly and associated herself with Jimmy Henrick, some rock star, told us about her family and story, to make us feel that hey these are nice ordinary people.it sort of make us let our guards down..At some point, we are taken in and thought the whole thing was a good deal and almost wanted to give in after a 3 and half hours session.

We are lucky that we DID NOT sign. We also do not intend to claim the gifts after reading the info on this website.

Thinking of asking the media like Straits Time to see if they want to write a story on this sort of scam
