I saw the channel u featured on timeshare, i just notice that i am one of the victim when asked for joined the ERI (Emperor Resorts Int) since 2001. I was asked for convert it to point system and after that become E-club, during the conversion i have paid out the admin charge $1000 and #3,500 respectively.
I have spent about $26k for the membership fee but i have not used since 2001, now i feel so foolish to sign all this agreement as i though they are not the timeshare company in the first place (in fact i was conviced by them took about 4 to 5 hours, then they will release me at 12:00 midnite).
Now i lost my job not just the money, i am now worry that they might ask me to enroll for the plan in the near future(it need to pay annual fee $100) or might come some new plan to suck my blood.
I am thinking to call them for help to resale my membership (they promise is not a problem to resale the membership), so that i can get the money to start my business since i was lost my job.
Any comments?

Sad to say, i think all your money spent on this is as good as gone. There is almost no resale market for timeshare in singapore. Basically, whatever they promised are useless unless it is in black and white.
There are many victims like you who are sucked into this and some have lost even more money then you.
You can terminate the membership if you think it is absolutely useless, but getting it sold in the resale market is almost an impossible task. Do be extra, extra, extra careful if you are approached by "resale" companies. Please read this to understand more about the resale market http://www.voy.com/161450/1191.html .

You can write a termination letter to your home resort to have the membership terminated.
If you are thinking of terminating the membership and get your money back or get some kind of refund, well, that will not happen.
