There is practically no resale market for timeshare that are marketed by "those" companies here. If a resale company approaches you to "help" to sell your timeshare for you, BE VERY CAREFUL! DO NOT TAKE UP ANY scheme that requires you to pay money upfront, they will just sit on it do nothing. DO BE CAREFUL of "resale" companies pushing the "Termination" tactic. These people will try to use scare tactics to make you pay big sums of money to terminate your timeshare contract. But in actual fact, terminating your contract does not cost you a thing. They will try to scare you by preying on your limited knowledge of the Law. Since you are not well verse in Law, anything they say will sound somewhat true, but infact it is not true. Like debts that can roll over to your family members if you can no longer pay up. That is an absolute nonsense. If you are the sole owner of the debt and there is no co-owner, there will be no roll over. I suggest you get yourself mentally prepare to accept the fact that your money is as good as gone. If you need more info on resale, read through this forum's posting. They may be long, but there are alot of true examples and answer all over it. Date Posted: Thu, Jun 29 2006, 16:44:40 Hi Yap, Legally, we are suppose to pay for the maintenance fee right? How can we terminate it without paying for it. I am not very well-versed in law. Can you enlighten me more about it. You can also drop me a private mail @ multi_sec@yahoo.co.uk. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
