Yes, its true i worked for some of these companies before.
I also have some information about these companies; the MDs, Sales Directors, Managers, Contracts officers, Liners (travel consultants)& Liaison officers. I spent 4 years of my life cultivating and learning about how they do their business. Sad to say i don't have any good word for any single person in the industry save for some innocent youngsters who stumbled into the industry with promises of making it into big time (earning thousands) and finally being disillusioned when they finally realise what it is all about. Yes i use to own a Timeshare. I was also a victim many years ago and refuse to pay the spiraling cost of maintenance fees. Why should i? I don't even have time to visit my home resorts! It was an impulsive buy and i deeply regretted my decision in losing thousands of my hard-earned dollars! Ironically i stumbled into the business, just for the feel and to get a grip on the industry and the players. I got cheated of my commissions in the process by two of the companies. Never mind! I gained valuable knowledge about the foreigners and locals who pander to their bosses and no one can convince me now that it is something good to have or a must have. Now if there is a collective effort to expose these people for what they are then count me in. I am prepared to make a stand. For those who want any info or advice pse send me a private email and i will give u a reply. i do not wish to give advice in this forum for obvious reasons. Caveat Emptor!
