Just got back from a vacation in which we purchased an RCI timeshare. After some research, we decided to rescind the contract. Unfortunately, they get to keep the $300 'application fee'.

I'd suggest to anyone considering a timeshare needing the 3-5 days to THINK about it - that you DO NOT initial the application fee part. It's a RIPOFF. Either way - you walk out losing $. We wasted 1.5 hours w/ them and paid them $200 (less the piddly $100 gift).
