] Date Posted: Sun, Jan 28 2007, 17:56:25 we've (my family) been contacted by them and we visited their office earlier today (Sat 27 Jan 2007). It was after I did an Internet search for "Zealz" (after our trip) that I stumbled upon your posting here (...and many thanks that!!!) We were first attended to by a lady (plump in size) called "Joanne" who told us the following during our 1.5hr visit: 1) They are a "service provider" engaged by "EDWIN SEAH & K S TEO" to gather a group of people that "may" have been cheated/"scammed" by LGM to collectively sue LGM and recover our monies. 2) We were told that the following are the required costs for their lawyer to commence on their litigation proceedings: - Termination of Contract with LGM = $8500 - Claim or Recovery = $4500 - Admin fees = $3000 In all, she quoted approximately $16,000+ in legal costs. The following are facts of our visit: a) There are 2 groups of people (Group 1 and Group 2) who will be suing LGM through Zealz's appointed lawyer. Group 1 will start their "discussion" session on Tuesday (30 Jan 2007) at some hotel in Singapore (I could not remember the actual hotel's name). Thus far, they claimed that, to date, they have more than 388 members in their "support group". This one important event must be a gathering of a truly sophisticated group of investors whom each had a paid-up membership of more than SGD$16,000. I'm sure a lot of fund management houses would be interested in attending too. You'll soon be in Forbes list if you keep this up. Well done! b) She indicated that we can apply for a legal aid of up to $1500 each and this would be approved immediately upon the production/verification of our NRICs. On this note, may I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to our Law Society for such generous handouts as compared to our charities. Please pardon my ignorance when it comes to what my NRIC can do nowadays. Maybe I'll flash it over at NKF's office counter to get a free gold tap or something when I move to my new house. c) She showed us paper documents (such as LGM member-related correspondences, Writ of Summons, Letter of Demands, etc.) that LGM and their members, Zealz's members and Zealz's lawyer "EDWIN SEAH & K S TEO" had corresponded in the past. A keyword search for "EDWIN SEAH" in the Law Society's Website (http://www.lawsociety.org.sg/directory/practitioner.asp) revealed that there's indeed such a law firm registered in Singapore. I'll call this law firm on Monday (29 Jan 2007) at "62212278" to thank them personally, on behalf of Zealz Corp, for showing me all their clients' details. Yes, I'm now truly convinced that EDWIN SEAH & K S TEO is acting as their lawyer and I'm highly confident that the Law Society and the AG Chambers will be very proud of them on their representation of their client on such a massive scale. I'll definitely recommend them to all my "good" friends and relatives. d) Interestingly, the legal-related costs of about SGD$16,000 can be paid in interest-free installments. However, you must be a cardmember belonging to that of DBS and Maybank. Zealz Corp has impeccable banking relationship with these 2 financial giants, and I'm sure you'll be given lots of freebies when you sign up with their interest-free payment scheme. Finally, suing someone now is as easy as visiting the slimming studio. e) Much to our astonishment and delight, the Accounts Manager came to see us personally when we said we wanted time to consider and this Malay gentleman even offered us a whopping 50% discount on our admin fees provided we sign the "Warrant to Act" immediately during our visit. I'm pretty sure he's paying out of his own pocket expenses considering the fact that he appeared extremely well-to-do with his shining rings and Mont Blanc pen. (Could I have that pen instead of the discount?) In fact, we were so touched when he told us that he gave in to his job so much that he had lost his wife of 13 years to LGM where he used to be a former member. And this is why he's so deeply devoted in helping members like ourselves. So friends, please come forward to be healed by this next millennium saviour. Ok, I'm writing this with a genuine and kind purpose in mind. This company is a joke but I'm not! Never under estimate the power of the Internet. I'm devoted to help victims and shutdown scammers who preyed on people's hard earned money. Zealz Corp is praying on victims of timeshares/scams, much like those conmen who preyed on defenceless tsunami/flooding victims that we read in the news. - LGM Victim [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
