I purchased a timeshare in Charleston, NC in 5/07 from Festiva Resorts. I have not received what they said I would, I have been calling for over a month trying to get answers, their customer service is a joke. I put a down payment down and they took the first months payment from my credit card, that's the only thing they did that they said they would do. I feel I've been scammed and don't want to pay any more money, but they said this was a mortgage and I am afraid they will put a lean on my house. What can I do? Can I just not pay anymore and lose the money I already put down, which I am willing to do? If anyone have any information that could help me please let me know.
