] Date Posted: Sat, Jan 15 2005, 13:33:14 In reply to: Edwin 's message, "Encounter with Oriental Travels" on Sun, Nov 09 2003, 11:45:10 It came as a shock to me when somebody called me that you receive the limited invitation who qualified for the holidaymaker profile. It started with a guy explaining the lucky draw and prizes I have won, then passed the phone to his Marketing Director to talk more about all the marketing gimmicks. THe questions asked are about the same as others' have: must be a couple age 28-53, have joint income > 4k, etc. Be careful not to be influenced by all their tricks trying to do hard-selling on you. My advice, never come to such presentation or invitation. I then called the Orient Travel office, they said that they just explain about their company's business when you come. I enquire more about it and she refused to explain. Open your eyes widely and not easily tempted of such marketing hoax. Cheers! Date Posted: Wed, Jan 26 2005, 10:59:03 Hi, I just received the same promo letter telling me I had won either the Corolla or $25,000 CASH. Done a check on the yahoo search and found this forum. Surprise to find the same trick being use for such a long time. I guess what they said is correct, once proven, don't change it. Good luck to all in the coming CNY. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: Sat, Feb 12 2005, 9:10:23 Hi! So did you collect your cash or car? Is the lucky draw prize at least real? Just wanted to know more about whether the prizes are true, and if anyone knows whether the privileges are true at least, other than the large amount of upfront cash?
