Their office is still around and their staff are helpful but they are evasive when you ask about refunds and such. basically, their resorts in australia are NOT realizing. Thus, instead of (e.g. 20 hotels, maybe only 7 will be developed). Their focus seems to have changed to "Club Emperor" which they will try to sell you - stating that it has not recurring maintenance fees. However, take note that your UP transfer ends up with "less value" and that the points from "Club Emperor" is only once every TWO years, effectively halving your holiday benefits... I am now trying to sell my own membership but its really difficult. If your friend has not paid off all, she may want to just write off the amount paid and forget the whole thing. Even if you pay in full then sell, you probably get back less than 50% of the initial value. Hope it works. Email me if you feel my opinion matters. Thanks and all the best!
