During my one year stint in Royal, the price have risen three times due to the good demand at that time. I think price variation in the same company because these people bought at different time OR different size of bedrooms or diferent season of travel (there are three type), etc. You cant compare the price of a toyota corolla five years ago and today. Even the 3-room HDB flat my dad bought for $6000, thirty years ago went up to more than $180,000 ten years ago and now worth about $120,000....all the members I sold to bought with a smile....no gun were point at their heads. If pressure selling works, then out of the 15 couples that came every evening, only about two join...why not all fifteen? [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: Sun, Nov 20 2005, 3:06:51 Maybe presure selling is not the absolute correct word to describe it. The more appropriate word should be "tactical promoting and selling". Consumers are carefully lured into buying the "product" through tactically scripted product selling process and exploitation of the human weekness in greed. The issue here is not about the timeshare concept, it is about the way it is being sold to consumers, here in singapore or anywhere else. If they are really that good, they would not be number one on the compliant list at CASE Singapore. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
