Trick them before they trick you. I did this twice and I really enjoyed it.

When they call, pretend that you are really interested. Agree to go over to their office to collect the prizes. You would get few calls checking whether you are coming or not, just say you are on the way.

The bottom line is you do not show up. They would be left with empty tables and angry that you did not turn up. They would call again after the talk is over and you can give good reason for not turning up (I told that my car broke down).

They will rearrange for you to come again and repeat the cycle. Do it until you are bored.

Better still. Spend 90 mins of your time listening to the crap they tell u and then collect your free gifts and then leave. You would have known how they operate; what they are selling and how they are marketing their stuff. And u would have chanced to see the type of people employed in the company! Note the foreigners in the company - well dressed and smart but sly.....

You should have joined your friends and took the job, the person that invites the people to come (telemarketer) is just doing another marketing job, to put it plainly putting bums on seats. I have done the job in many countries and in Singapore, in fact the income its given me, will stand me for early retirement (38) while having done a job where I worked 5 hours a day.

The reason this is a success, is the GREED of the person taking the call, and the GREED of wanting something free, lets not forget that, and as you Know GREED is one of the 7 deadly sins

And, to put it plainly GREED is not so far from stupidity that leads people to the presentations.

Once they are there, the telemarketer earns his or her commission, it is then up to the client to make their own ADULT decisions.

Thats how successful Telemarketers sleep at night.
