] Date Posted: Mon, Nov 06 2006, 19:19:42 Hi everyone, I have been conned to sign up for a $10k deal with IRN back in 2003 and had been foolishly paying the membership installments until about a couple of months ago when I found out that this was really a scam. I had made a total of about $5k to date and I had terminated all future payments to them. The IRN people had been calling me daily to press me for payments but I refused to answer their calls. They called my home today and fooled my mother, by claiming to be a close friend, into giving them my office number. I had called them to terminate my membership twice in the past but they threatened to use the law against me and thus prevented me from terminating it due to fear. I had seek a friend's advice and he told me to stop the payments and ignore them, which I did. I am really worried that they might sue me for this. I am seriously wondering if I can get out of this completely. I am willing to forgo the money which I had paid out previously if I have to. I really hope that someone can provide me with some valuable advice on how to put a stop to this without having to fork out more money. Thanks in advance.
