Hi Everyone,

Many of the victims i have interviewed have mentioned about an innovative way payments are collected for their holiday club membership. Please be wary. What they do is after getting u to sign up for the membership the company then show u a payment plan where a 10 or 20% deposit is collected from u paid for through your credit card in Aussie dollars (to an Australian Bank Account). For the balance of the sum (u are attracted by the seemingly huge discount given for full payment) u are encouraged to sign up for a Cashline with a local bank. In this way there is no way u can back out from the membership after the 3 to 4 days 'cooling period'. You then owe the bank the money instead of the Timeshare company or Holiday Club. If you want to fight the case you have to take the issue to court which many people are reluctant to do due to the questionable outcome. This reliefs the Timeshare company of the heavy burden of chasing (and threatening members) for payments after reality sinks and the enlightened buyer backs out of the instalment scheme. Therefore my friends please be wary. Don't fall into the trap.
