Date Posted: Sun, Oct 09 2005, 9:48:24 My friends, let me advice u. There is no such thing as Timeshare Resell. But there are only problems and problems associated with timeshare resell. Firstly your timeshare membership has got no resale value. U can only do a supposedly 'trade-in' with a timeshare marketing company so that u get a discount or an offset for another type of holiday membership and get into the rut. Secondly most of these timeshare resale companies are possibly another timeshare marketing company masquerading as a timeshare resale company to recruit members. Or they could be an independent entity associated with or in cahoots with timeshare marketing company (earn attractive commissions for recommending people). So beware when u give them your particulars. There is no resale value for timeshare club membership as there is no fixed price for a timeshare membership. Many marketing companies sell the same type of membership for e.g. a 1-BD holiday club/timeshare membership at different prices to different people depending on the gullibility and affordability of the victim. So u see what i mean? So my advice is don't attempt to sell off your timeshare and holiday club membership. Either u keep it and pay the ever increasing annual maintenance fees or subscription fees or terminate it; just throw the piece of trash certificate into the rubbish bin and count your blessings. U are wiser now. Never repeat the same mistake again. Lesson learnt : 'Never be greedy and impulsive'. Caveat Emptor! [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
