In reply to: Wylie 's message, "VANASIA Consultancy" on Mon, Nov 17 2003, 17:45:15

Hi everyone,

After reading all your messages, I just realised I have been conned by Vanasia Consultancy in Singapore (Maxwell Road). I signed up with them in Jan 2003 and paid $500 for the refund scheme (which means if they don't re-sell my timeshare within a yr, they would refund this $500 to me).

Within this one yr, their communications have been very poor, making empty promises to send me letters/emails regarding selling my timeshare, but I did not receive anything! I asked them continuously for it and the outcome is still the same - empty promises but nothing from them!

As I am located overseas, they are trying to avoid my calls now when I call them.

A warning to everyone, "DO NOT EVER TRUST VANASIA CONSULTANCY (LOCATED IN MAXWELL HOUSE) IN SINGAPORE!"
The guy who I signed up with is called DARAN RAVIN (an Indian guy). There is also this manager who I contacted with called Caroline and the receptionist Susan.
All of them are cons!!!

What I have said is the truth, if anyone of u needs to contact me, feel free to email me.

Joey

I now also think that I have again been conned. I visited Vanasia office in Maxwell, decided to take a risk to spend another $500 to see if I could sell my MTC for $16k. Especially with the refund promise they made. I received letter 2 months later with a $1800 offer. I guess I have lost another $500. Does anyone know the contract with refund is valid ?

Tony
