Hi Space,

Did you managed to get out "unharmed"? That is, did you have to pay anything like cancellation fee or did they give you a full refund?

We have similar experience with yours.
We attended a presentation at Shaw House with Oxxx....Travel
We actually signed up on Mon and placed a deposit of $5000 thru credit card.

It is only only on Wed when I checked up this company on the net that I realised that I have fallen into their trap. I should have check on them early before I attend the presentation.

We were told that the usual cooling period is 3 days, but we were given 7 days. (He wrote on the "agreement paper"). I panicked when I discovered the scram on Tue. We spoke to the person-in-charge given them other reason (which is also close to reality) why we are cancelling the deal.
He offered other alternative and asked us to consider, afterall we have 7 days of cooling period.

But I got so uneasy that I actually returned everything and have the cancellation done on Thu. That guy didn't seemed too happy thou. I am so afraid that we may not be able to get out after 3 days. Now I am worried if I will be getting back my $5000 deposit credited back to my card.
Now all I can do is wait.

What is my chances? Any advice?

Rgds
