In the beginning the horses lived in peace.

They were free to follow their instincts, oblivious to any human race.

Their herds flourished along with the land and became larger.

It seemed this life would go on forever....

Then a terrible storm struck the island with the force of a hurricane.

It left none unaffected.

Few horses remained but felt something was different about the land.

The next generation had developed strange physical traits that they had never seen before.

Some traits were frightening.

Others were useful.

And still others were so negative that it led to the death of an individual.

With these new traits comes a new future.
