I didn't even know I was a fan of either till the show ended, which is when I finally got on the net, and found a very vocal faction out there who supported both. At first I was a complete and devoted fan of J/7, just because it seemed to make such complete sense to me. I mean, after having the idea introduced to me for the first time I thought the writer was crazy, but then I thought about all my favourite episodes, all those 'looks', watching Seven sleep in the cargo bay, and especially 'Dark Frontier'- "I'm not leaving without you!" and 'The Voyager Conspiracy'- the end scene on the Flyer. So then I admitted that there was something a little more multicoloured and flag waving about Seven and Janeway's relationship than I previously thought.
As for B'elanna and Seven I was at first horrified at the thought and cursed all those who wrote such offending fiction. But now I think I get where they're coming from, but I still prefer J/7. Sorry about the length... everyone in my house is tired of listening to me talk about Voyager, especially when I begin to insinuate certain feelings were shared by a certain Captain and her Borgalicious crewman. So I find this a pleasant environment to vent. :-)
