The way I look at it, it's not really Star Trek. It's just another generic faux sf. They can put the Star Trek name on it all they want, and blatantly steal the shape of the Enterprise ship, but it's not Star Trek - Star Trek is dead. We've been mourning its loss for years now. That was called Voyager.
