Oh the lugging around of water and stuff, always a bit of a pain but you do need it. At least you don't have to carry around wet weather clothing, warm clothing, toilet paper etc. like we have to do over here.

so who else did you like? What were Morning Jacket like? A mate really likes them but I haven't heard any of their stuff

Actually, I did bring toilet paper because those portable toilets are never stocked, but no, multiple layers of clothes were definitely not needed, LOL. Everyone was wearing as little as possible. Which made me realize just how few men have six-pack abs. Sure, they may have gorgeous bodies with nice, flat stomachs, but those abs are usually missing unless they're muscle bound freaks. Don't know why women think so much of them.

My Morning Jacket was all right--I wouldn't spend money on them alone (or a CD for that matter) but it was fine to stand there and listen to. Modest Mouse I mainly went to for one song and because my sister likes them--they were good, but ended their set early. Calexico was a lot of fun--good dancing music with a Latin twist. (Also went to see them because my sister and her boyfriend are into them and I liked the CDs they had me listen to.) G. Love and Special Sauce I went to b/c of my sister yet again, but ended up enjoying a lot. Fun, funky music. Trey Anastasio I really want to look into more--he was great. (But then, I like Phish and he used to play with them.) I didn't really see many of the headliners. I liked the smaller ones better. :)

and on a completely different note, I got unevenly burnt yesterday and now my legs are all splotchy, darnit.

mens' bodies are officially not good are they? Pete hasn't lost any weight at all, probably put some on! When the other boys in the band were topless, he kept his sweaty t-shirt on. Poor thing can't make the premiere either, too short notice for him to get sorted with clean clothing and arrive in time as its an early start. Pity, as I fancied being Mr and Mrs.Rock Stah walking down the red carpet
