The guys don't think they are Kings. The puck bunnies do, as does most of the community. And what's wrong with that? They provide entertainment that's a lot cheaper then going to see the Leafs! You cannot deny that they are put on a pedestal in Barrie. That's not their fault. So OK, maybe the OHL is not the highest level of play, but it sure as hell is up there. And in what way do they think that they can "get away with anything"? What, because they often take the puck bunnies up on thier offers? They are not forcing themselves on anyone or in any way "getting away with anything". And as far as their "reality check", living "outside the glory" is not such a far cry as what they do everytime they go home to visit their families, or each and every night they go back to their billets. It's only the followers that put them on that pedestal, so it's those people who need the reality check. They won't live in their OHL past for the rest of their lives, it will be a memory that they can look back on fondly and be proud of. A pretty neat story to tell their kids actually. So I think the only pathetic one here is you, who is obviously so incredibly jealous of these guys that it kills you.
