I'm a little concerned about all of the race baiting regarding the prospect of two African American women winning tonight. It's the 21st century and we are having this conversation. It doesn't matter that the current Miss USA is black. Rachelle and Crystal were back to back black winners in 2007/08. Ironically Crystal was from powerhouse Texas. The Greenwood organization wants are Miss USA. They've already produced two black Miss USAs since 2000. If Yarborough or Bolton win tonight they will be competive at nationals regardless of race.

While it may be true that they would be competitive, I don't think that they are the clear winners. In MISS there are quite a few girls that could be just as competitive. I don't think we should say that someone is going to win because of the race and I don't think the TN judges should be pressured to pick someone African American just for that reason, MAY THE BEST GIRL WIN.
