Subject: Amanda“s Task 13

The image I chose is the one called: Retrospective Martin Luther King. I like this one because it portrays him with his hand to his chin pensive. I liked it because it represents Martin Luther king“s whole approach to his fight for racial equality. It does so in that Luther king did not use hatred, violence, chaos, etc to try to change things...he used his brain and thought of arguments, made great speeches, he appealed to people“s reason and sensibility. This approach is contrary to figures like Malcom X who saw things differently. In favor of Luther king“s approach and seeing this image as a representation of all this I chose that one.
