I am not sure I have ONE song that best describes me or represents my life but I am sure everyone has a few songs they consider to be more significant to them: it is the ones that immediately bring back memories of someone or a period in your life. In my case, it came to my mind the song "You Learn" by Alanis Morrissette (as I have said in a previous task she is one of my favorites). The song is about learning or taking something meaningful out of little experiences, everyday life. Not only is it an important song for me because of its message but also because it refers to a time in my life when I had a lot to learn: my teenage years and my living in the United States. I was 14 or 14 and had a lot going on in my life.
Actually, as I come to think of it, the whole album has a special meaning to me for the same reasons, it refers to that period of my life, it was when I got to know Alanis's work. So I just remembered other songs in the album like "Ironic", "Hand in my pocket" that I consider to be representative of a great part of my experience as an adolescent.

You Learn

I recommend getting your heart trampled on to anyone
I recommend walking around naked in your living room
Swallow it down (what a jagged little pill)
It feels so good (swimming in your stomach)
Wait until the dust settles

Chorus:
You live you learn
You love you learn
You cry you learn
You lose you learn
You bleed you learn
You scream you learn

I recommend biting off more than you can chew to anyone
I certainly do
I recommend sticking your foot in your mouth at anytime
Feel free
Throw it down (the caution blocks you from the wind)
Hold it up (to the rays)
You wait and see when the smoke clears

Repeat Chorus

Wear it out (the way a three-year-old would do)
Melt it down (you're gonna have to eventually anyway)
The fire trucks are coming up around the bend

Repeat Chorus

You grieve you learn
You choke you learn
You laugh you learn
You choose you learn
You pray you learn
You ask you learn
You live you learn
