Anyone see the Elvis Costello interview in the most recent Rolling Stone (Kurt Cobain cover)? At one point, the interviewer says, "You sing about your wife a lot on the new album." I was shocked by Elvis' response. This should have been Elvis' cue to mention Bebe Buell, but that didn't happen. The article mentions Elvis traveling the world with his wife, Cait, going from Ethiopia to the South Pole with her. Why would he do that, if he's still in love with Bebe Buell? I don't get it. Elvis even had this to say about Heather Graham (of "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me"): "Heather Graham, what a doll. That's a hard job, isn't it, watching Heather dance around in that dress all day?". Shouldn't he be talking about what a doll Bebe Buell is? He mentions writing a song for Destiny's Child, called "Spooky Girlfriend". No mention whatsoever of Bebe Buell, his #1 muse and inspiration for 99.9% of all his songs. Why doesn't he write songs for Bebe? He must realise she's a singer, since he worships her so much.

>I don't know if this has been on TV yet but I know

>when Elvis Costello did the show. "Musicians" is a new
>show on Bravo which is kind of like "Storytellers"
>because the musicians on the show perform and talk
>about what inspires their songwriting.
>Elvis Costello is known for telling long and
>fascinating stories about what inspires his songs, but
>he didn't mention Bebe's name once during the show.
>Imagine that. NOT ONCE! HA!!!!!!!! But if Bebe watches
>the show, I'm sure she'll say that he couldn't stop
>talking about her through all the secret codes and
>subliminal messages he was sending, and she's the only
>one who can decifer them. HA!
>I don't feel like checking the Bravo website but it
>should have a schedule for when they're going to show
>Elvis Costello's "Musicians" episode.
