This is insane! She thinks everyone's as stupid as her.
's message, "Re: Amazon.com, Bebe Buell busted AGAIN !!" on 21:55:44 04/09/02 Tue
Here's a story you'll probably be interested in.
I found out about this site around last fall when a friend of mine in London started getting harassing e-mails from anonymous people saying psychotic and really hateful stuff, and yelling at him about a site called Groupie Central. It seems these "different people" were all pissed at my friend because he posted on the web that he's a fan of Bebe's ex. At first we wondered who all these psychos were and why they would care, and how did all these people supposedly from New York and England find out about him, and then we noticed that all the harassing e-mails were coming from the SAME IP address from Portland, Maine in the USA and NOT from England or New York. Then when we checked here at Groupie Central we saw that it was the EXACT same IP address that Bebe was using to post on the board here, saying almost word for word the same insane stuff. Now if you check out Amazon.co.uk (the UK site for Amazon) you'll see a review Bebe posted of her own book under the name "Caitlyn Roth" supposedly from "New York". We got a chuckle out of that since "Caitlyn" was one of the "people" that emailed him the crazed emails and the IP address was from Porland, Maine NOT New York, and she goes out of her way in the "review" to say why she's writing to the UK Amazon site from New York.
So fast-forward to a month or two ago. My friend starts getting more psychotic emails. This person was either Bebe again, or a close friend who was acting under Bebe's direction because the emails were the same psycho stuff, using Bebe's EXACT words. This "person" even went so far as to purport to be speaking "on behalf of Liv Tyler". So we went searching for this particular email address on the web and predictably enough we found that the EXACT same email address had jumped into a Todd Rundgren messageboard and started saying the same old things about how great Bebe is because someone there had written about how insane they thought she was after reading her book. You could see that this person had never posted there before so she must have just been searching the web looking for stuff, the same way she found my friend. So we busted her right there on the Todd Rundgren messageboard, but we PURPOSELY didn't say that we had these psychotic emails from her, just to watch her fake "explanations" for jumping into the messageboard. Just as we thought, she posted back saying that she just happened to be there defending Bebe's "good" name and saying we MUST be her ex, etc, etc., and then accused US of searching around for Bebe Buell. So THEN we posted back AND THOROUGHLY BUSTED HER ASS saying that we were not searching for Bebe Buell, but were in fact searching for this particular email address because of these harassing emails full of hate and purporting to be speaking "on behalf of Liv Tyler". Curiously, within a day or two the thread was deleted, and that's the last we heard of her, except that soon after at Amazon.com, this same person had posted a "review" of Bebe's book saying "She WAS and still is an incredible beauty." and defending Bebe's neglecting of her daughter, and saying how Bebe REALLY WAS Elvis Costello's "muse", and that Bebe shouldn't be called a "groupie" because this "new breed" of groupies are "different",( as if sleeping with dozens of rock stars married or not isn't EXACTLY what Bebe did. What's the difference? They use protection now?) The "review" finishes off by saying "until you have seen Bebe Buell sing onstage, you haven't lived as far as I'm concerned!!". Ok, Bebe...sure. Are you THAT bloody desperate? We found at Barnes and Noble's website this same "person" has posted a ridiculously positive "review" of Bebe's book too. Is there ANYONE who has LESS OF A LIFE???
So we're here laughing our asses off at that, and we decide to search for more, and a search shows there's some guy has one of those weblogs, sort of an online diary where you write your daily thoughts and activities and whoever wants to can read them. This guy obviously is part of some poetry/songwriter scene in New York City, but it looks like he writes more just about his mundane comings and goings...where he went for coffee that day, what he thought about, or what he read that day. If read his diaries at http://jonberger.blogspot.com/ you'll see that on January 12, he read Bebe's book and wrote about it in his diary, basically making fun of the "secret messages" Elvis Costello supposedly sends her in his songs and calling it "awful" "painful to read" etc... the usual response. THEN on February 1, this guys writes that he is suddenly getting "several emails" about his mention of Bebe's book saying what an "awful" person he is. By the time his entry for February 10 is written, the poor bloke has been frightened by the onslaught of emails so much that he says he is scared to write in his diary anymore. On Feb 10, he writes " After the recent series of surprise visits to my sights, I've been a little anxious about adding autobiographical anecdotes to the place where people expect autobiographical anecdotes. I mean, there's follow-up to the Bebe Buell story, based on my subsequent mention of her a week and a half ago... but I'm afraid her bulldog friends may get on my case again if I say anything.", and he is left wondering "how did the friends of Bebe find out about my site in the first place? It's not as if I've presented my work to any search engines for perusal. Yet my page was found on the Yahoo search engine. Go figure.".
I guess this poor chap hasn't yet figured out that Bebe has no life and spends all day on the internet searching out anyone she doesn't like so she can harass them with her "aliases". What a fucking psycho that woman is. How sad and pathetic that she has nothing better to do than harass complete strangers on the internet.
I had a feeling you'd enjoy that info. What a "classy" dame allrighty.
>WOWW!!! I haven't been here for a while and I just
>did check Amazon.com again. HOLY SHIT IS BEBE BUELL
>THE MOST OBSESSIVE LUNATIC ON THE PLANET OR WHAT !?!!?!
>
>On even the most CASUAL first glance, any moron can
>see that almost all the reviews are written by the
>same person. A large number of them use the EXACT
>SAME WORDS AND PHRASES, and anyone who remembers how
>Bebe spent the majority of last year obsessively

> (By the way, if anyone missed Bebe's obsessive

>BUT LOOK FURTHER!! After the first reaction of " Wow,
>what a sad case this woman is, these are obviously all
>written by Bebe herself", I noticed some VERRRY
>interesting things.
>
>If you take a look, (better do it fast because Bebe
>will probably frantically go about changing what I'm
>about to show you), you will see that almost every
>"customer review" is written by "someone" who just so
>happens to feel compelled to write a "review" about
>Bebe's book, even though they have never written ANY

>HAPPENS to love Bebe's book SOOOOO much, obviously
>more than ANY other book or ANY other film or ANY

>
>Some of the "reviewers" just LOOOVED Bebe's book
>SOOOOO much that they went ahead and wrote TWO

>"reviewer" ("Bozkins" from Baton Rouge, for those
>checking) that loved Bebe's book SOOOO much that
>"they" wrote a "review" about Bebe's book, and the
>ONLY OTHER review they wrote is about the movie
>"Almost Famous". Guess what the "Almost Famous"
>review talks about?? YOU GUESSED IT!! This "person"
>spends the whole review of "Almost Famous" talking
>about none other than Bebe Buell !!! And surprise,
>surprise!! This "reviewer" wants people to think that
>the movie is based on none other than ... Bebe Buell
>!! Bebe, oops, I mean "Bozkins" even says that, even
>though the director Cameron Crowe states in no
>uncertain terms that the movie is based on his
>real-life friend named Penny, that Bebe claims she
>once had a conversation with Cameron about his age, so
>that MUST be about Bebe, because NOBODY EVER mentioned
>Cameron Crowe's age !! NOOOOO!! A 15 year old
>interviewing Led Zeppelin??? NOOO, I'm sure nobody
>EVER mentioned his age. So according to Bebe, oops..
>i mean, "Bozkins" that MUST be about Bebe. Does this
>woman even GET the fact that the whole point of the

>way too young and everybody knew it and EVERYBODY SAID
>SO. I can't believe how insane she is.
>
>OK, since I'm bored here at work, I'll continue...
>
>NOW look at the "review" by "Iggybators". What a
>surprise! Another glowing "review of Bebe's book.
>This one even defends Bebe's neglecting of her

>Can you magine THAT?? A book soooo moving that
>someone would feel compelled to write a review JUST to
>say it's OK to abandon your child to chase rock stars
>around the country. It must be that incredible flair
>for the written word Bebe possesses. LOL
>
>And....
>
>Now see "Denise"'s "review". Another review praising
>Bebe's book, and, surprise surprise, trying to spread
>Bebe's bull about "Almost Famous" again. THEN Bebe,
>oops, I mean "Denise" ALSO goes so far as to write
>another "review" about "Almost Famous" where she
>mentions, can you believe it...Bebe Buell !!
>
>And don't overlook....
>
>Bebe's, oops.. I mean, "wc66"'s "review" on Bebe's
>book. This review, in all seriousness, calls the book
>"The best rock and roll memior yet!" WOW!, that's
>SOME review. This "person", once again sooo moved by
>Bebe's book that they've never reviewed ANYTHING else,
>starts their "review" by saying "Groupie is not the
>word for Bebe" HA HA. THEN, goes on the say "She was
>one of the first true independent women of rock, like
>Marianne Faithfull." I mean, HOW DELUSIONAL CAN SHE
>GET ??? Independent???? As in.. someone who DOESN'T
>live off men their entire lives??? As in.. someone who
>DID something?? PUH-LEEASE. Then Bebe, oops I mean
>"wc66" finishes off by stating the book is "never
>malicious". I'm glad "wc66" threw that in, because I
>now see I read the wrong book.
>
>But wait...
>
>Bebe, oops..I mean "wc66", then goes back 20 days
>later to write YET ANOTHER "review". This one
>mentions, suprise again... "Almost Famous", and goes
>on to make sure that you know how "candid" Bebe is,
>and that all the stories are "true", which I'm sure
>would baffle even Einstein as the stories CONTRADICT
>one another !! But I guess Bebe's more intelligent
>than Einstein, because EVERYBODY said how smart she
>is. Well.... according to Bebe anyway. She must be
>SOOO smart that all these guys are afraid to ever SAY
>so, probably intimidated by her overwhelming
>intelligence, just like all the reviewers saying what
>a horrible writer she is are REALLY just "jealous".
>
>AND NOW.. THE MOST PATHETIC, SICKENING, SAD, SAD,
>DISPLAY OF OBSESSION, CONCEIT, AND INDIFFERENCE I'VE
>EVER SEEN.....

>This "reviewer" also seem to think that, as the rest

>Im completely overwhelmed not only by Bebe's
