Place has been around for years - 25 years apparently. But, you're right. That was after your time. In the mid-to-late 70s, it was a Thai place/fern bar with a full bar. Used to go there with the old, crazy girlfriend when she lived on 12th Ave. between Irving and Kirkham. Then it became PJ's. I think PJ's went cajun about five years after it opened.
