...just may have thrown Typewranters with no knowledge of Hindi name-conventions a curve. In Euro countries in which many names end in vowels it's the opposite of what you describe. If the misdirection was, perhaps, intended--then as misdirections go it was worthy of compliment. RKBA! Regards, all.
