These people do care a great deal about Hafan, you are missing the point. It is said that familiarity breeds contempt. Well, at Hafan the familiarity of the volunteers who give so willingly of their time, energy, skills and love certainly breed the contempt of the present managment of Hafan. If you have been a volunteer Sandpiper you must know what I am talking about. We would welcome Alan, Tracey and anyone else and support them fully if there was no conflict there, if immorality was not applauded and treated as the norm amongst those responsible for vulnerable students, and if there was not the constant back biting that spoils everything with its constant undercurrent. Hafan is beautiful and we will always defend it, but it can never thrive under corruption, the sooner Alan comes to this inevitable conclusion, and does what he intended all along, collect his profits, the better. To those of you who will come along now and remind us how Alan so generously puts his own money in, of course he does, it is his business and his family's inheritence. If he lets it run down before the land reaches its optimum value he will lose out. Its only a waiting game for him, and for spirit's sake we hope it is almost time for him to collect his vast profit, sell it to someone who cares about spirit incarnate as well as discarnate, and to move on to his next project, for thats all we have ever been to him.
