In reply to: Bigwig 's message, "Re: Spiritual People" on 11:42:36 10/05/04 Tue

In reply to your friend "Bigwig" you are right Hafan is not failing in its Self allotted task, the task was to get as much out of the students as possible, with as little outlay as possible, with as much disregard for their safety and basic humanitarian needs as possible, as with as little work as possible unless it could be done by volunteers or those working for much less than the legal minimum wage. Yes it has achieved all those things and that is why it can function on only 4 students.
It is quality that counts I couldn't agree with you more and the quality of the selfishness of those who have been charged with the running of Hafan over the past 18 months is supreme.
There are many lessons to be learned there for all those who are interested in learning how to serve themeselves better, you will learn how to subsist on very poor food, how to keep yourself warm, how to avoid any actual work, keep moving, thats all you have to do and people will feel sorry for you, dont wash or comb your hair, it looks like youve been too busy to do so, go to bed early and leave others to their own devices, it look like youve tired yourself out and has the added bonus of more time for extra marital nooky, the list of lessons is almost endless, that is you have no need for spirituality in this world and are happy to take your chances in the next as they must be.
