I am looking for a way to hook two ford 460 engines to one gearbox with two input shafts and one output shaft that will go to a 9 speed tractor trailer transmission. The motors will side by side and work off of one spark distributer that is in one of the engines. I am needing a design to go by. This gearbox has to to be able to work everyday if I wanted it to. I may want to drive the contraption all of this will be in across the state if I want. And it has to be able to pull a heavy load too....say like, two backhoes or something. Does anybody out there have any ideas they can put my way concerning what I want to do? I am in need of help here. send me an email. I can call you back. Thanks.
