Subject: He never complains

I've NEVER done this before, never would have thought of it. Even though my son would not complain were there no gifts under the tree for him, I humble myself to ask for this for him. I have been diagnosed with MS years ago...worked as long as I could with it but finally gave in and decided to stay home before my body collapsed. I never had medical insurance and couldn't be on meds, and now rather than MS, I am told it may be Lupus instead. My sons, Tyler 21 and Erick 12, have been my reason for not giving in. Neither ever complaining, or asking for anything, both scared that something would happen to me. Both taking on my problems as their own, and of course me, pretending all is well so they wouldn't worry. Now, my oldest has moved to another state and my youngest has an empty apt, no big brother or big brother's friends and he has taken on what both he and his big brother did before...the worries, the concerns. He is intelligent, caring, loving and oh so wonderful...never asks for anything, never lets his wishes be known, never complains and is always around...he rarely goes outside to play and stays awake until I head to bed to make sure I am safe. I live on the child support I get and the food stamps the rental assistance and I am I KNOW so lucky to have all this to help me out. I know I am so lucky to have a roof over our heads and food in our bellies, and that I manage to pay our rent, and our utilities, if barely, each month. But for Erick...with his birthday a week before Christmas and Christmas, all I want is a little happiness for him, to see a smile on his face. He is an intense Runescape player online, loves his PS2 games with violence and blood of course..and ICP...Insane Clown Posse. His brother brought him the love of that group. Above all, he would like a bicycle...one he can do tricks on, a 24" or 20" regular boys bike . We have no car and yet again, he never complains. He is my life...my guideline. I don't expect miracles....just a little extra for him at this one time of the year, since I can do little to provide it. God bless.
