Looking for a Dr Todes, Salisbury, 1963 to 1969 (?)
My name is Nick Whittome, born Nicholas Jackson, to Martin Jackson the flautist in the rock band Otis Waygood and Elizabeth Jackson, who re-married and became Elizabeth Whittome. I am seeking a Dr Todes who ran a surgery in Salisbury in the sixties, who I believe handled the adoption of my older brother, born of the same parents in 1965ish, into another family on the day he was born. Any infor on how I can get hold of Dr Todes would be great - he's the only person that I think could point me in the right direction...

I presume you're thinking of Geoff Todes( He did originally live in Zimbabwe). He was our family doctor when we were living in Johannesburg and I believe he is still practising. His office is in Rosebank. You should be able to find his telephone number on the internet - there is an international list of numbers.

If it helps and is Meyer Todes I believe he may now be living in Great neck Long Island New York. Come back to me for further info
