Date Posted: 15:58:17 11/05/03 Wed Author Host/IP: 205.188.209.13 On my last visit to Grenada, I was fortunate to meet a certain headmaster who expressed such high praise for a certain ex-student that currently resides in the U.S.A.In his words,"That fellow never turned his back on the school."I thought it was a womderful commentary on the individual and likewise the many other Grenadians who have never forgotten from whence they came. It is with this in mind that I make an appeal, not to those of you who have done or are doing things to help the less fortunate people at home but to those who are able but for some reason never got around to assisting that church, school, organization or individual. Fot the most part we are a kind, helpful and loving people, except for the few rats among us,and many of us already help in one way or another. So pull out those books that your son or daughter never got time to open and send them home. The good book says it is better to give that to receive so as the holiday season approaches, it might just be the appropriate time to make someone smile at home.
