Lev 3:14-4:1

14 "From it he shall present his offering as an offering by fire to the LORD, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails, 15 and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys. 16 "The priest shall offer them up in smoke on the altar as food, an offering by fire for a soothing aroma; all fat is the LORD'S. 17 "It is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall not eat any fat or any blood.'" Neh 8:10

10 Then he said to them, "Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

Well Michelle, It�s a tougher question than it looks � Lev. Says all fat is YHVH�s � Neh. says to eat fat at feasts � you can see this also in Ex 23:18 "You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavened bread; nor is the fat of My feast to remain overnight until morning. NASU

So it seems to be a paradox � but I think its sacrificial fat that�s YHVH�s � but the sacrificial system is fulfilled does that release the fat portions from the commands of the Torah � maybe

I find it interesting that NT does not have the word fat in it � unless I find otherwise fat is OK � but if its not you will have worry about much much more than just jello � I�ll keep looking at this maybe others will have some insight � lets hope
