Dear AMC BABy,
THank you so much for your email, and please excuse the delay in my response.
I too mourn the absence of OPAL in Pine Valley. She is such a rich, unique, caring character who is connected to so many people others, it seems a terrible waste of resources not to use her, and Brooke, and Palmer.
But alas, we are not the folks who make the decisions nor write the stories. As I'm sure you can see, the form of daytime soaps is evolving, younger characters, shorter scenes and more action. I guess there just ins't the space or time to include historic relationships.

Be well, and enjoy the oncoming fall, it reminds us that everything is constantly changing, not just T.V!
