Hi Jill-

Thanks for responding to my message; it was great to hear about your experiences on set!

I just wanted to say that I think you're being so respectful about AMC's ridiculous decision to let you go- you could have bad-mouthed the people at AMC but instead you encourage us to keep watching the show! That takes a lot of grace and dignity, and it's nice to see.

I also wanted to say that I think the producers at AMC have no idea that they are doing; I am 20 years old and still a part of the "teen demographic" that they are so desperatly seeking after- and let me just say, after watching the show faithfully for 4 years, I am about ready to stop. I have absolutely NO interest in the new, young characters they are bringing in- that is NOT the way to bring in teen viewers. I fell in love with AMC because of characters like Opal and Brooke, and now Opal is gone and Brooke pops up next to never. I recently heard that they are also letting Vincent Irizarry go, and that might be the last straw for me. I'm sad to see AMC go from a strong, intelligent daytime soap to a trashy, boring, and ridiculous mess. I haven't given up hope completely, but whenever I do tune in to AMC these days, I very much miss your character.

Thanks for making AMC enjoyable for me for the past 4 years. You'll be missed.

--Jennie
