I'm male and I loved this movie!! It was the most beautiful and profound flim I have ever seen. I didn't just cry, I think it changed my life and how I look at love.

To me it wasn't a lesbian movie, it was about two people in love. It could have been about anyone. A man and a woman, two men, etc... It just happens to be a story of love between two women.

I so feel for Pauline. That could happen to anyone. When you lose a love like that, it really does feel like you've lost your entire world. She lost the most beautiful part of her life, that would kill anyone inside.

At the start of the movie you get to see how beautiful their love is. How happy they are together. It was amazing!

but then of course everything goes the wrong way and you get to see how much love can hurt and the things love can make us do.

It's a story about love and also about society's unfair expectations for us all. Love is love, it doesn't matter what gender those involved happen to be.

And I'm not gay, I just have an open mind and an open heart.

I still cry just thinking about the movie. 5 minutes after it was over I ordered it on Amazon and I can't wait until it gets here! I think I need to see it another 20 times this month. :)
