wow... i had the exact same reaction to the film... i had never seen it before then and i was just talking to friends and then was flipping channels saw mischa barton and started watching... it was nothing like i expected and not only do i now respect the actresses A LOT more than i did (i knew mischa barton from oc and paulie from cyote ugly (sorry bad speller)) but i was in absolute tears at the end. i have never cried because of a movie before, but this one was just incredible and i am so sorry i did not see it before now.....

p.s: i am a guy and please dont think that guys are insensitive, just generally in our peer group (but for me not with close friends) we dont show our sensitivity....
