I think Tory and Paulie are two ordanarie girls who are bestfriends whom just hade one step further.
Some girls in were I live (sweden) have started to kiss each other on the mouth (no tongue is invald) insteed of huging, to proof that the are absolut best friend. Tori and Paulie culd be one of them and then they share the same room it's possible that they put there frindship one step futher into what we call couple.
Remember what Paulie shout to Mouse, that she's not a lesbian. Tori says the samething to her friends and sister, to Paulie she saids "it's time we grow out of it" like it just was a diferend kind of friendship.
If they realy would be lesbians, the hade to face the fact and be proud of theys sexuality like people do now a days.
