in fairytales, those daughters who have special qualities are always the ones to have a 'bad' relationship with their (step)(m)others (i.e.stepmothers/ mothers/ others)...
they change and transform for good some day...
remember you are capable of 'metamorphosis' - 變態 - like a butterfly??
even though fairytales are just tales, there's always 'truth' in them...
