「七一大遊行」原本張揚有五十多個團體會支持加入，但當日到維園的團體實際僅四十多個。這些合辦團體，除了有所謂「民主派」人士之外，還有什麼「性權會」、「姐妹同志會」、「彩虹行動」等團體。「民主」與「搞基」不知怎麼會「搞」到了一起，端的是令人覺得「奇哉怪也」。「民陣」以「人權」為旗號，「搞基」馬馬虎虎也算是「人權」，但安居樂業、發展經濟、人人就業、穩定和諧，等等，是更大的人權，「民陣」捨本逐末、棄大撿小，與以「性」為尊的男女「同志」（此「同志」非彼「同志」也）們「老友鬼鬼」，不但「奇哉怪也」，簡直「莫名其妙」。
