The backlash will be that some will now innocently know the outrageously higher salaries of their lesser qualified fellow employees. Why is a policeperson who's been through rigorous training putting their life on the line getting 30 grand less than someone who sleeps their way to the top with little if any relevant credentials? Why is anyone in planning making more than the person who has a degree and experience in that field? It's insulting!
