Being a manager is not an easy job. The hardest part is managing people. A well run department, managed by a successful manager knows where his/her boundaries are. Fraternizing, and surrounding yourself with YES employees, creating and promoting a 9-5:00pm working will hurt you dearly. The party's over Chief, the public will not pay for your misgiving in allowing a bloated and mismanaged department.
