How can the CM cut police salaries - significant cuts indeed - when those salaries are defined by contract? Since when can a city manager cut a police officer's salary almost 20,000 in the blink of an eye and have no problem increasing his own by, what, 22% as has been reported.

How is this possible when you have do nothings doing nothing earning monies they aren't qualified for?

This is a disgrace. I hope all of those cops getting cut leave and find another job where they will be appreciated, and compensated for their selfless service.
