I guess the bots that "wrote" this have never been to downtown Peekskill or Poughkeepsie. They're rating streets that have hardly anyone living on them. Industrial streets like Van Ness, Concord, Washington Place and Ann. They probably get an F because the crime to resident ratio is so high. So if one crime happens on a street where 10 people reside, there goes the ratio. What also seems to be missed is that if rents are higher than other areas, why is that? And why would people who could afford them choose to live here? Rents are not determined by crime stats but by people willing to pay those rents. Where the interviews with people who live in those expensive apartments? Why would they pay such high rent in such a "dangerous" area?
