It's funny that the river restaurant owners aren't crying bloody murder to get that ferry. They would be the biggest benefactors. Instead, we have this ex-cop doofus coaching the ferry as a commuter adjunct when it would- if scheduled and promoted as a tourism option- be explosively popular. It's as if the MTA can only think about one thing at a time. They promote non-commuter service to other places- why not Beacon/Newburgh?
